Festicket recognised in the TLA Createch 100
Festicket, the world’s largest online booking platform for music festivals, announces today its inclusion in the TLA Createch 100. The Createch 100 highlights 100 technology-led organisations that are harnessing the commercial potential of creativity.
The list was compiled by the Tech London Advocates (TLA), a private sector-led coalition of over 5,000 expert individuals from the tech sector and broader community. It is aimed at highlighting the potential for London and other UK cities to become world-class hubs for createch businesses, as well as celebrating the achievements of rising stars in the creative and technology industries.
Founded in 2012, Festicket has established itself as a key player in the live music experience industry. The innovative web platform specialises in packages for festivals, including accommodation, transfers and extras alongside normal ticket sales. It also serves as a go-to guide for all things festival, with an online magazine and Festival Finder, which uses Spotify to help discover new festivals.
Marc Duke, community manager at the TLA, comments: “We thought that Festicket is a great example of tech and creativity working in unison to enhance people’s experience of enjoying music and an excellent candidate to be included in the list.”
Zack Sabban, CEO and co-founder at Festicket, comments: “It’s fantastic to be recognised as a leader in the createch space alongside so many other impressive organisations. 3.8 million Brits went to a music festival last year and we’re proud to be helping these music fans to have amazing experiences.”
