Festicket named 80th fastest growing company in Europe by FT 1000
The FT 1000, which is now in its third year, is compiled with Statista, and lists the European companies that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2014 and 2017.
Founded in 2012, Festicket partners with festivals to provide travel packages that combine tickets, accommodation, and transfers in one complete and hassle-free one-stop shop for festival-goers. The company has grown its gross revenue by over +480% since 2015, more than doubling it every year from 2012 up to 2018.
Festicket has had a busy start to 2019 already. After securing $10.5m in funding in November 2018 from investors such as Beringea, a new funding round of $4.6m was announced in early February from Edge Investments. Separately, the company plans to launch its first ever crowdfunding campaign to give investment opportunities to its committed community of festival fans.
Zack Sabban, CEO and co-founder and Festicket, comments: “It’s a great feeling to be recognised for our growth by the FT 1000. It just goes to show how much potential the festival industry has, as more and more people choose to spend their money and time on unforgettable experiences like festivals."
"Sales have been up 70% year-on-year and we just had a record-breaking month in February, breaking our all-time record with over €11m gross merchandise value in the shortest month of the year. We have huge plans in the pipeline for the rest of 2019 so watch this space!”
